“Goods” – means all personal or commercial items, household goods, vehicles, or materials entrusted to Rufous Relocations LLP for packing, moving, loading, transporting, storage, or delivery.
“Service” – refers to any packing, moving, transport, storage, loading/unloading, or logistics service provided by Rufous Relocations LLP.

3. Scope of Services
Rufous Relocations LLP provides professional relocation and logistics solutions across India. Our major services include:
Household shifting and office relocation
All India Tempo Service
Car and bike transportation

We serve both residential and commercial customers with tailor-made solutions for smooth, safe, and affordable movement of goods.
4. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website or availing any of our services, you confirm that:
You are at least 18 years old or are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
The information you provide during booking or inquiry is complete and accurate.
You agree to abide by all policies, terms, and notices posted on our website.
You understand and accept that Rufous Relocations LLP reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice.

5. Booking and Payment Policy
a. Booking Confirmation
To initiate a service, customers must provide complete details such as:
Pickup and delivery address
List of goods to be transported
Type of service required (e.g., full truck load, shared, household, office, etc.)
Preferred date and time of relocation
Once we verify your request, we will provide a quotation or estimate. A booking is confirmed only after mutual agreement and advance payment.
b. Advance and Payment Terms
Customers are required to pay a minimum advance before the service begins.
The balance payment must be made before final delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payment can be made through UPI, bank transfer, cheque, or cash.
Rufous Relocations LLP reserves the right to withhold or delay delivery until full payment is received.
c. Quotation Validity
All quotations are valid for seven (7) days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change based on fuel costs, taxes, or route conditions.
6. Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change. However, to ensure fairness:
Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled date will be eligible for a partial refund (after deduction of administrative charges).
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled move are non-refundable.
Refunds (if applicable) will be processed to the original payment method within 7-10 working days.
No refund will be issued once loading or transportation has begun.
In case of unavoidable delays or service cancellations due to unforeseen events like strikes, natural disasters, or accidents, Rufous Relocations LLP will not be held liable but will attempt to reschedule the service at the earliest.
7. Packing and Handling of Goods
Rufous Relocations LLP takes utmost care in handling your goods. However, customers must note:
Proper packing ensures safety during transit. If you choose self-packing, we will not be liable for any damages resulting from poor packing.
Our staff may refuse to carry items that are hazardous, illegal, or prohibited under law.
Customers are responsible for declaring valuable or fragile items before packing.
Rufous Relocations LLP shall not be held responsible for any hidden damage or pre-existing faults in goods.
8. Transportation and Delivery
a. Transit Time
Transit times mentioned during booking are estimates. They depend on factors like distance, weather, road conditions, and external disruptions.
b. Delivery
We aim to deliver goods on or before the scheduled date. However:
Delays due to traffic, accidents, or natural calamities are beyond our control.
If the customer is unavailable at the destination, we may store goods temporarily, and storage charges may apply.
Customers must inspect goods upon delivery and report any visible damage immediately.
c. Vehicle Allocation
We allocate transport vehicles based on the volume of goods, distance, and type of service chosen (shared or full load). Vehicle types may include tempos, trucks, or containers.
9. Insurance and Claims
While our team ensures safe transit, insurance coverage is strongly recommended.
Customers may opt for transit insurance through Rufous Relocations LLP or their own insurance provider.
In the event of damage or loss, claims must be reported in writing within 48 hours of delivery.
Claims are processed as per insurance company policies and not directly by Rufous Relocations LLP.
Rufous Relocations LLP will assist with all necessary documentation for claim settlement.
Note: Rufous Relocations LLP will not be responsible for loss or damage if insurance coverage is declined by the customer.
10. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide accurate information about goods and addresses.
Ensure that all items are ready for loading at the scheduled time.
Remove personal valuables such as jewelry, documents, cash, and perishable goods before packing.
Obtain required permissions for loading/unloading at restricted premises (e.g., apartments, gated communities).
Make full payment as per agreed terms.
Failure to comply with these responsibilities may lead to service delays or additional costs.
11. Company Rights
Rufous Relocations LLP reserves the right to:
Deny service if conditions are unsafe or unlawful.
Modify service schedules due to unforeseen circumstances.
Change terms, prices, or policies at any time without prior notice.
Retain goods until full payment is cleared (as per lien rights).
12. Limitation of Liability
While we take every precaution to protect your belongings, Rufous Relocations LLP shall not be held liable for:
Loss or damage caused by acts of nature, war, theft, or accidents beyond our control.
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss (including emotional stress or business interruption).
Damage arising from improper packing, especially for self-packed goods.
Delay in delivery caused by external factors.
In all cases, our liability shall not exceed the declared value of the goods or the amount paid for the service, whichever is lower.
13. Storage and Warehouse Terms
If customers require short-term or long-term storage:
Storage charges will be applicable per day or per month as mutually agreed.
Customers must declare the nature of goods and provide an inventory list.
Rufous Relocations LLP is not liable for natural wear, tear, or environmental conditions.
Access to storage facilities will be allowed only during business hours with prior notice.

We value your privacy. All personal details shared with us during booking or inquiries are used strictly for service purposes and are kept confidential.
